Who is Jesus?
In John 4:16, Jesus said, “I am THE WAY, THE TRUTH, and THE LIFE. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
We believe that Jesus is everything He says He is; someone who lived a perfect life in the face of the temptations of this world, and then faced death on the cross to pay the price for our sins. That is the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus.
Why would someone who lived a perfect life die for people they didn’t even know?
John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”
God loves each of us so much, that he allowed his son to suffer for our sins.
So what do we do with what He did?
We accept His sacrifice on our behalf. There is no amount of work we can do to earn what He has done for us!
Ephesians 2:8-9 says, “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.”
