A Community Resource Center

Dedicated to empowering our under-resourced neighbors.

Coming November 1, 2024

The Hub is a community resource center created by The Point Church to serve our under-resourced and under-served neighbors, providing not just assistance but life-changing support. Through a network of over 850 non-profit organizations, The Hub connects people with vital resources like housing, legal aid, job placement, and employment assistance. Our volunteer Connectors offer personalized guidance to address immediate needs and find long-term solutions that promote stability and independence.

For those ready to break free from the cycle of crisis, The Hub provides volunteer Allies who mentor individuals, teaching practical life skills and offering spiritual support to build a foundation for lasting stability. By putting the church back at the center of the community, The Hub serves as a beacon of hope and a vital support system.

Over the next five years, we aim to connect over 750 neighbors with essential services and guide more than 250 individuals toward sustainable independence, supported by our dedicated team of volunteers. The Hub will launch in October 2024 with Phase One, connecting people in need with our nonprofit partners, followed by Phase Two in January 2025, where our Allies will provide long-term mentorship to help individuals build a brighter future. Join us in this mission to transform lives and bring hope to our community.

  • The Community Partner Liaison plays a vital and dynamic role in The Path Out of Poverty initiative by building strong, meaningful relationships with local organizations that provide clothing to those in need. Your mission, requiring 6-10 hours a month, will be to connect with these partners, gather crucial information about their services, and keep our database up-to-date with the latest resources available. By doing so, you’ll empower our Volunteer Connectors to swiftly and effectively guide individuals to the right clothing support, making a real difference in their lives.
