A Community Help Desk

DEDICATED TO EMPOWERING OUR UNDER-RESOURCED NEIGHBORS

At The Hub, life change isn’t just a possibility—it’s our purpose. Created by The Point Church, The Hub is more than a help desk; it’s a bridge to stability and independence for our under-resourced and under-served neighbors. Through a network of over 850 nonprofit organizations, we connect individuals with vital services like housing, legal aid, job placement, and employment assistance, ensuring that no one has to navigate life’s challenges alone.

  • The Community Partner Liaison plays a vital and dynamic role in The Path Out of Poverty initiative by building strong, meaningful relationships with local organizations that provide essential resources such as food, clothing, housing, and childcare. Your mission, requiring 6-10 hours a month, will be to connect with these partners, gather crucial information about their services, and keep our database up to date with the latest available resources. By doing so, you’ll empower our Volunteer Connectors to swiftly and effectively guide individuals to the support they need. Additionally, you’ll be the go-to problem solver, occasionally assisting Volunteer Connectors in finding creative solutions for our neighbors’ unique needs. If you have a heart for service, a gift for building connections, and a passion for creating positive change, this role offers an exciting opportunity to be on the front lines of impact, fostering partnerships that bring hope and tangible help to those who need it most.
