What Should I Expect
Summer Camp invites middle and high school students to experience an incredible week away from their everyday routines. Camp FAQs
What if I need financial assistance?
We believe lasting life change through encounters with our living God happens daily at Summer Camp. We never want finances to be the reason a student doesn't attend summer camp and we need help to ensure this happens. Reach out to Kyler if you have any questions.
What do I need to pack?
Look at you thinking ahead.
Here’s the packing list!
Are there any extra costs?
Everything is covered in the cost that is essential to camp. There is a coffee shop and merchandise for sale which will be an additional cost.
What if I need to cancel?
The deposit of $50 is non-refundable. To request a refund and cancel registration for the remainder contact Kyler.
Where do students stay?
Students will stay on site in the cabins split by gender. There are bunk beds and individual showers. Students will room with their small group and leader.
What if my student has medications?
Be sure to notate medications on the registration and we will also have a form for you to fill out with dosing information close to camp.
What if my student has food allergies?
Be sure to notate any allergies on the registration. Watermarks Campground is a nut free facility. They are also able to accommodate all major allergens. There is a specific window students will go to after meal times where a dedicated staff will ensure every student’s dietary restrictions are met.
This is my student’s first overnight camp and they have anxiety.
Your student isnt alone in this, we have students every year in the same boat. We understand how big of a step camp can be for those who struggle with overnight anxiety and our leaders and staff are ready to support. We also strive to ensure by the time bedtime rolls around they want nothing else other than to sleep from all the activities!
Is there a cell phone policy?
To ensure students are fully present and able to connect with others and with God, cell phones are not permitted at Camp. We request all phones be left at home. Any phone brought to camp will be collected by group leaders upon arrival and securely stored. You'll be able to contact your student's group leader directly throughout the week if needed. Thank you for helping us create a focused and distraction-free environment for every student.
What does transportation look like?
We do not provide transportation to Watermarks Campground. The location while it may be an hour drive is centrally located for all of our campuses. We promise the drive is worth it! We do encourage car pooling with other students! If transportation is an issue reach out to your campuses StudentLife Staff Member.
